The Sete de Setembro Indigenous Territory, inhabited by the Paiter Suruí people, is a model of sustainable development anchored in integrated cultural, environmental, and economic practices. Local initiatives such as the Paiter Suruí Botanical Garden, Yabnaby Tourism, the Indigenous Handicraft Store, and the Yabnaby Restaurant strengthen sustainable production chains, promote biodiversity conservation, and value traditional knowledge. The goal is to ensure economic autonomy for indigenous families, preserve the territory, and educate visitors about sustainable ways of life, in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
